In an extended meeting with SI.com's Bob Harig, Phil Mickelson pronounced that joining LIV Golf had permitted him to "continue on,"
The 45-minute discussion covered a wide assortment of subjects, remembering his support for the extreme changes to proficient golf
as well as current endeavors by the PGA Tour to alter its timetable and authoritative design.
Mickelson guaranteed that without LIV Golf giving the best players in the game power,
the Tour's latest changes could never have been made.
"The fact that nothing would happen makes it obviously informed. Nothing planned to change until there was influence, he added.
